Dan Owen

DAN OWEN was born in 1992 in the small English town of Shrewsbury, north west of Birmingham. As a child, he learned to play the guitar and later earned himself the nickname “Blues Boy Dan”, performing the blues repertoire at pubs and clubs.

When he finally began writing his own songs, various different types of music flowed into his self-written works: rock, reggae, and pop. Dan has played support slots for superstars like Birdy, Kaleo, Bryan Adams and Alice Merton. In August 2018, he independently released his debut album “Stay Awake With Me”, which has since been streamed 60 million times.
